A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 19, 2021, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in New Iberia for Ann Weathersby Clasen, 87. Ann endured a hemorrhagic stroke on July 9, 2021, and handed absent peacefully at property in New Iberia on Friday, July 15, 2021, surrounded by her beloved kinds.
The Rev. Jude A. Halphen, Ph.D., will be the celebrant. The Rev. Nathan Comeaux will concelebrate. Patrick Viator and Michael Viator will serve the Mass.

Ann was born on Might 3, 1934, in New Iberia to Walter and Yvette Weathersby. (Shannon) of Stafford, Virginia, and their two daughters, Brianne and Kailey, and Christian Michael Clasen (Dodie) of Brookhaven, Ga, and their daughter, Ann Marie one brother, Patrick Weathersby (Carol) of New Iberia just one brother-in-legislation, Douglas Michael Clasen (Niva) of Reno, Nevada just one previous sister-in-law, Jonnie Melillo Clasen of Columbus, Georgia a single sister-in-legislation, Donna Clasen Smith-Pedder of Jacksonville, Florida several nieces and nephews including Crystal DeMoura (Rene’), Lori Dartez (Lance), Raine Zaunbrecher, D. Michael Clasen Jr., Todd Patrick Weathersby, D. Brad Weathersby, Clete, Steve and Tris Smith lifelong pals Sue Standish of Santa Barbara, California, Marie Bassin of Parrish, Florida, and Tonya Lipman of Baltimore, Maryland and several other pricey mates she manufactured above the years through the army, teaching, church and authentic estate.
She was preceded in demise by her partner, Darcy her dad and mom, Walter Ray Weathersby and Yvette Froment Weathersby one brother, Walter Ray Weathersby Jr. cousin Dudley Marie and by her aunt Zella Marie.
Pallbearers will be Jason Viator, Nicholas Viator, John Viator, Timothy Clasen, Thomas Clasen, and Christian Clasen.
